About Dr Ting-Ching Tang (Dr TingTang) and Team Health Sci
I trained as a doctor in Cardiff and Nottingham, sat the MRCP UK, and have practised in the UK and Taiwan for over twenty years. Most of my hospital years were spent at the Centre for Geriatric Medicine at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, looking after the patients most others had given up on. Team Health Sci and the 9S Framework grew out of one observation: by the time most people arrived in my clinic, the decade in which the problem could have been pre-empted was already over. This is what I try to do here — write about that earlier decade, and the few things in it that are worth getting right.
